In the interview, the various team members touched on a bunch of different topics, including the approach to rolling out new content, the matching system and ranks, NPCs, and much more. We have a summary of the discussion below.

Nearly a year ago, Microids announced a slew of games for Switch. Some of these games have come out, but a few are still in development.

One upcoming title that should be released soon is Flashback 25th Anniversary. A listing for the game has now appeared on Amazon Germany, featuring a boxart and screenshots (this also confirms a physical version by the way).

Last week, the Fire Emblem Cipher Festival event was held in Japan. Those who attended were treated to something special. It’s not online at the moment, but fans were shown a character trailer for Tharja in Fire Emblem Warriors.

Based on reports from those who were present, Tharja is apparently a Robin clone. Also, one of the new History Maps is based on Chapter 9 of Fire Emblem Awakening, where she’s recruited. The video also showed that during her victory movie, she poses like her official figure.

Usually when a developer announces that something has been submitted to Nintendo, that tends to mean it’s close to release. Unfortunately, that isn’t the case with the Bedrock Edition for Minecraft on Switch.

It was recently mentioned during an official live stream on Twitch that Bedrock Edition had been submitted to Nintendo. But during another stream a few days ago, it was clarified that Bedrock is “not done” on Nintendo’s console and the team has “quite a ways to go”. Bedrock is also not in final certification.

Switch was originally supposed to receive the new features and content from Bedrock Edition last year. It’s intended to unite all versions of Minecraft, including support for cross-platform play.

BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle

BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle is a fighting mashup of four different franchises. BlazBlue, Persona 4 (Arena), Under Night In-Birth, and RWBY are all represented here.

When Cross Tag Battle was initially announced, RWBY’s inclusion was arguably the most surprising inclusion. Producer Toshimichi Mori explained how the collaboration came to be in an interview with GamerHubTV.
