As Nintendo prepares for the big 3.0.0 update for Splatoon 2, the game will be experiencing a bit of maintenance tonight. Expect service to be impacted at the following times:

– 5:50 PM PT (April 24) – 7:30 PM PT (April 24)
– 8:50 PM ET (April 24) – 10:30 PM ET (April 24)
– 1:50 AM in the UK (April 25) – 3:30 AM in the UK (April 25)
– 2:50 AM in Europe (April 25) – 4:30 AM in Europe (April 25)

The new Splatoon 2 update should begin distribution roughly 10 minutes into the maintenance session.

Earlier today, Bethesda announced that Wolfenstein II is launching for Switch on June 29. A listing has since been added to the eShop, revealing the game’s file size.

As things stand now, Wolfenstein II will take up 13.7GB of space on Switch. We’ll let you know if anything changes over the next few months.

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze is nearing its May 4 launch on Switch. Ahead of its release, Digital Foundry is taking a look at the game to see how it stacks up to the Wii U original.

First, let’s talk resolution. Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze ran at 720p on Wii U. When docked on Switch, it increases to 1080p. Digital Foundry estimates the portable resolution to be roughly 648p.

Arc System Works revealed at the Nexon Developers Conference 2018 today that Guilty Gear XX: Accent Core Plus R is heading to Switch. Fortunately, the company has quickly followed up with an announcement for the west.

Guilty Gear XX: Accent Core Plus R marks the first time that the series will be appearing on Switch. It originally released in arcades as Guilty Gear XX: Accent Core, and has become a fan favorite after undergoing a tuneup to optimize each characters’ individual concept.

Wolfenstein II has finally secured a release date on Switch. The shooter will arrive for the console on June 29, Bethesda announced today.

Shining Resonance Refrain has been dated. The RPG will arrive in both North America and Europe on July 10, the company announced today.

Fans will be able to purchase the Draconic Launch Edition. This includes the game in a collectible metal slipcase, featuring character artwork of Excella, Sonia, and Kirika.
