Original (3/19): For the past few days, the Wii Shop Channel has been experiencing major issues. Right now it seems impossible to access the digital store at all.
At startup, you’ll likely be presented with what’s more or less a blank screen. Sit there long enough and you may then encounter an error code as well. Unfortunately, there’s nothing that can be done other than returning to the home menu manually.

[Review] Rune Factory 5
Posted on 2 years ago by Nicholas Serpa in Reviews, Switch | 0 comments
System: Switch
Release date: March 22, 2022
Developer: Hakama
Publisher: XSEED Games / Marvelous
The producer of the Rune Factory franchise, Yoshifumi Hashimoto, once summarized the games as “Harvest Moon where you wield a sword.” And while that’s technically true, it’s a bit reductive; not content in being merely another set of farming-focused slice of life experiences, the Rune Factory games lean deeper into the “role-playing” aspects of their fantasy settings, giving you more room to explore, fight, craft and shape your experience to your liking then Harvest Moon ever has. Rune Factory 5 is the first 3D entry in the franchise since 2011’s Tides of Destiny, and thus feels primed to capture the attention of more new fans than ever before. While this new entry may lack the overall polish in its mechanics and presentation that it deserves, Rune Factory 5 is still an overall rewarding experience full of charm that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Switch update out now (version 14.0.0), “groups” feature included
Posted on 2 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch | 0 comments
Nintendo has just released a new 14.0.0 firmware update for Switch, and it’s rather significant. Users can finally use a “groups” feature to help organize their games on the home menu.
To create a new group, go all the way to the right and select “All Software”. You can then press the “L” button to start an actual group. You can sort through your content by last time played, play time, title, and publisher. After this, you can even arrange how the software will be displayed. The final step is simply creating a group name.
Other than the ability to create groups, today’s update also includes some changes for Bluetooth audio volume.
The full patch notes for the 14.0.0 Switch firmware update are as follows:
