Medabots Classics Plus

Medabots Classics Plus is in development for Switch, Imagineer has announced. It will launch in Japan on November 12.

Medabots Classics Plus, split into Kabuto and Kuwagata versions, includes eight titles and sixteen total versions from the Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance eras. A number of features will be included such as the ability to save and load at any time, skip battles, and increase gameplay speed. Players can also view the original manuals. For the Switch release, players can easily complete mini-games by pressing and holding the button rather than button mashing.

Pokemon Sword/Shield - The Isle of Armor

As part of The Isle of Armor DLC for Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield, a bunch of returning creatures have been added to the games. Dataminers have already uncovered the full lineup of Pokemon that have been brought back from prior titles.

Bounty Battle

Publisher Merge Games, along with developer Dark Screen Games, announced the final release date for the indie beat ’em up crossover Bounty Battle. The game launches for Switch via the eShop on July 16.

New Pokemon Snap

Nintendo has shared more information about the just-announced New Pokemon Snap for Switch. Aside from the actual overview, it’s been revealed that Bandai Namco is developing the game.

Today’s Pokemon Presents presentation will be starting not too long from now. The broadcast kicks off at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET / 2 PM in the UK / 3 PM in Europe.

During the 11-minute presentation, we should be hearing more about the Pokemon Sword/Shield Expansion Pass. Other news should be included as well.

Duke Nukem 3D: 20th Anniversary World Tour

Last October, Duke Nukem 3D: 20th Anniversary Edition World Tour was rated for release on Switch. Gearbox Publishing and porting studio Sonka made the news official today, and has announced that the game is dropping on the eShop next week.

Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory

Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory is in development and will be released on Switch, Square Enix has just announced. It will launch later this year.

Square Enix describes Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory as a rhythm action game. It will feature over 140 songs, including ones from Disney. Four modes will be available, including online battles.

Pokemon Presents

The Pokemon Company has announced Pokemon Presents, a new presentation that will offer up the latest news about the Pokemon Sword/Shield Expansion Pass and more.

It will go live tomorrow, June 17, at the following times:

LEGO Super Mario

LEGO Super Mario aims to translate some of the mechanics from the classic games. There are some elements of the series that didn’t make the cut though, like when players die in a level from failing.

LEGO design head Jonathan Bennink spoke about why the team decided to leave that element out in an interview with The Verge. Nintendo actually helped lead the team in that direction as the company’s Takahashi Tezuka said if Mario is happy, then players will be as well.

Update: As expected, Jump Force Deluxe Edition launches in the west during that same week. It’ll be on August 28 in North America and Europe.


Jump Force Deluxe Edition will launch in Japan and Asia on August 27, Bandai Namco has announced. North America and Europe should also have the Switch game during the last week of the month, though we should be getting the official confirmation on that soon.

As an early purchase bonus, players will receive Frieza’s small pod that they can ride in the online lobby, three in-game avatar suits (tops) from One Piece, Dragon Ball, and Naruto, and an item set.
