You can defeat Big Boos in Super Mario World by sliding down stairs

Did you know Big Boos can be defeated by sliding down stairs in Super Mario World. It’s the only Boo in the game that can be taken down in that manner, so perhaps it was an oversight on the part of Nintendo’s developers.
Some players definitely knew about this, but there are plenty who were completely unaware of it. How many of you tried out that little secret back in the day?

The Next Penelope originally came out in 2015. A Wii U version was planned, but creator AurĂ©lien Regard has since confirmed that it’s been cancelled on the console.
The one bright spot here is that Regard is looking into whether a port on Switch will be possible. It also sounds like he’s hoping to bring his next game to the new system since Unity is supported, which is what the project is built on.
Continue on below for Regard’s full comments on the situation.

Switch accessories have been popping up left and right over the past couple of weeks. Now from Nordic distributor Pan Vision, a bunch more have been listed.
Perhaps the most interesting of the bunch is for Joy-Con armor guards. In that listing, it mentions separate “wand” and “controller” modes for the controller. Another accessory hints at voice chat, but I think that’s something we were all expecting from Switch at this point.
Here’s the full rundown from Reddit user pixelpushing:

Pokemon GO received a massive boost in the United States at the end of 2016. With Niantic promoting the game with a pair of events, it experienced its best single day on December 31 in terms of domestic gross revenue since July 18. Players spent roughly $4.9 million on that day, Sensor Tower reports. The week of December 26 was also Pokemon GO’s highest grossing in the U.S. since mid-July at roughly $22.1 million spent.
The end-of-year holiday events in Pokemon GO performed better than the Halloween and Thanksgiving events. It also outperformed the initial introduction of Gen 2 Pokemon in early December.
As we closed out the week that was 2016, Pokemon GO was the highest grossing app in the United States. It beat out Clash of Clans and Clash Royale during that period.
