Rage of the Gladiator started off as a WiiWare exclusive before moving on to iOS and Android. More than three years following the original game’s launch, it now appears that it’s coming back to a Nintendo system.

We recently came across a PEGI rating for Rage of the Gladiator on the 3DS. This is also backed up by a similar rating over at the USK. Gamelion hasn’t announced Rage of the Gladiator for the eShop, but it seems as though a release on the 3DS is planned.

GungHo Online Entertainment’s TGS 2013 lineup consists of just two games this year. Puzzle & Dragons Z as well as Ragnarok Odyssey Ace will be playable.

That’s it, folks!

Stardust Amazoness from Arc System Works will be at the Tokyo Game Show later this month. So, too, will Swords & Darkness – another 3DS game from the company.

Swords & Darkness is listed as part of Arc System Works’ lineup for TGS. Prior to today, we hadn’t heard of the game. What might it be?

Minecraft has been very well represented on gaming platforms. It’s been available on the Xbox 360 for quite some time. Minecraft will soon be making its way to the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PS Vita as well.

That leaves Nintendo as the odd man out. As of now, the game hasn’t been announced for either the Wii U or 3DS.

Responding to the possibility of Minecraft appearing on either platform, Nintendo business development manager Dan Adelman said:

“What can we say on that front? [laughs].”

Nintendo senior manager of marketing for licensing Damon Baker also commented:

“We’re big fans. We have a continuing relationship with Mojang, and respect all the work that they’re doing, but no announcements at this time.”

Baker went on to speak in general terms, noting that Nintendo keeps track of “what everybody’s doing”. In fact, one reason why Nintendo is present at PAX Prime 2013 is to have conversations with developers and find out “whether they’re making games for other platforms or not.”

“We’ve got our own favorites that we’ve had conversations with. So I think it’s always a work in progress.”

Mighty No. 9 may end up heading to not one, but two Nintendo systems.

A Wii U version will be created if Kickstarter funds reach $2.5 million, which is a real possibility at this point. Mighty No. 9 may also be considered for 3DS depending on feedback and if the team “can make the money work”.

Hey: perhaps Renegade Kid could handle a 3DS port. Co-founder Jools Watsham certainly seems to be interested:

A minor StreetPass Mii Plaza update is now available for download in Europe and Japan. As of now, the update hasn’t launched in North America.

Update v3.2 addresses the following:

– Under certain conditions, if there is a crash during Warrior’s Way or Mii Force, we addressed the issue and allow the game to be continued.
– In addition, we fixed minor issues to enhance the performance of the application.

Nintendo apologized for any trouble caused to users and advises suggests performing the update inside the StreetPass Mii Plaza.
