Xenoblade Chronicles 3D has addressed a small auto-attack bug from the Wii version
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in New Nintendo 3DS, News, Wii | 8 Comments
The original version of Xenoblade Chronicles on Wii came with an auto-attack bug. It wasn’t a major issue, but it’s something that has since been corrected in the New 3DS version.
Here’s what the folks at German site ntower passed along:
It’s about the bug that made your characters weaker than their status screen showed. Your characters have an auto-attack, which ranges between two fixed points. For example: Shulk has an auto-attack power of 1200-1600 points, at least the status screen says that. But the bug didn’t make it possible to deal more damage then 1299, because it always just took the minimal possible damage and added 99 points to it. It was never possible to deal 1600 in that situation, only with critical attacks and special attacks.
The good news is that Xenoblade Chronicles 3D addresses this issue completely. Your characters can now dish out full damage with auto-attacks.
PoPoLoCrois Farm Story details (summertime region)

Marvelous’ latest update on PoPoLoCrois Farm Story covers the Zuzuru region, spanning the Mauricio Ranch, Zuzuru Village, and Zone Village. View the roundup of details below.
– In order to save the world from the “Black Beast” that suddenly appeared, Prince Pietro heads towards the foreign country of Galariland
– Located in the summertime land of the Zuzuru region (all of the game’s major hubs are defined by a specific season), where the grasslands and water are radiant and the sun is always shining, is the “Mauricio Ranch”
– Here, the normally healthy cows have been plagued by an unknown illness, and the people of the ranch are perplexed
– When the rancher who left in search of treatment for the cows doesn’t return, Prince Pietro sets out in his place
– South of the Mauricio Ranch is a wide-gaping cliff with a cave, where Zuzuru Village was established to avoid the heat
– Because it’s in a cave, sunlight never gets in and it’s dark at night, meaning lamps are a necessity
– Zone Village: another village in the Zuzuru region
– Zone Village is an everlasting summer resort with bright and cheerful residents
– Village has bustling shops, a deep blue sea, and welcomes all of its visitors
– Release the “fairies” of each land to increase your livestock
– Encounter fairies on your journey
– Farming at certain locations will yield special results, such as the “Boomerang Cucumber” and “Light Watermelon” you’ll get farming at the Gentle Geothermal Ranch
– Romalia (voiced by Kumiko Nishihara): The fairy of the Zuzuru region, governing the Gentle Geothermal Ranch
– Mauricio (voiced by Michitaka Kobayashi): owner of the Mauricio Ranch and Mayuri’s father; loves his cows
– Mayuri (voiced by Misato Fukuen): Mauricio’s daughter; worried about her father, who hasn’t returned from seeking out a cure for the cows

There’s a neat little reward waiting for those who complete Xenoblade Chronicles X. In today’s Japanese Twitter update, director Koh Kojima reveals that players will unlock a “fashion equipment” option in the equipment menu. This allows for the customization of your character’s visual equipment without changing stats. It’s a separate thing that isn’t tied into combat.
Kojima also mentioned in another tweet: “Also, it appears that there are users that are concerned about creating their avatar, but you’ll be fine even if you just create one quickly and begin playing, probably.” It’s thought that Kojima is indicating that a character’s look can be customized once the game begins.
