Lover Pretend English release date set for December

Aksys Games today confirmed a final release date for the English version of Lover Pretend. In North America and Europe, the otome title will be out on December 1, 2022.
Aksys Games also revealed a sneak peek of the exclusive set of six full-color character cards that will be included in all first run copies, pictured above. Fans who nab the game from the Aksys Store have an opportunity to add on a bonus soundtrack CD while supplies last.

Undead Darlings: No Cure for Love getting a physical release on Switch

Limited Run Games is planning a physical release for Undead Darlings: No Cure for Love as part of its distribution line, the company announced today.
A standard version and Deluxe Edition are planned. With the latter, fans will receive a copy of the game, character cards, a soundtrack CD, and behind-the-scenes maps from development.

Hellena Taylor is not the voice actress for Bayonetta in Bayonetta 3 and the role has shifted to Jennifer Hale, according to PlatinumGames.
Director Yusuke Miyata shared that tidbit in an interview with Game Informer. Speaking with the magazine, he explained that the change came about due to “overlapping circumstances”. However, Miyata did say that “Jennifer’s performance was way beyond what we could have imagined.”

Killer Queen Black shutting down in November

Killer Queen Black will be going offline and is shutting down on November 30, according to Liquid Bit.
The company explained in a post today that Amazon GameSparks will be ending on September 30. Since Killer Queen Black uses this service for its backend functionality, it will cease to function. It was further stated that “moved mountains and spent a treasure to migrate to a different provider, but unfortunately, the task amounted to an almost complete rewrite of the game, and that’s just not in the cards for Liquid Bit at this time.”

Arkanoid Eternal Battle gets new trailer, limited edition

SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake is getting a special “BFF Edition”, THQ Nordic and Purple Lamp revealed today. Pre-orders are also already starting to go live.
The collector’s edition includes the “Cosmic Victory” statue measuring 25cm / 9.8″, inflatable Patrick measuring 50cm / 19.7″, a BFF amulet with necklace, four costume miniature bouncing balls, four placemats, a copy of the game, and costume pack DLC.

SEGA has a new offer in place that will let players obtain Soap Shoes for Sonic Frontiers.
To get involved, you’ll need to sign up for the official newsletter by January 31, 2023 and share your name, date of birth, country, and preferred platform. Developer says Nintendo no longer allows games showing uncensored breasts

According to developer Gamuzumi, Nintendo has changed its approach to content it allows on its platforms, and no longer permits uncensored breasts to be shown in games approved for systems like Switch.
The studio was hoping to bring Hot Tentacles Shooter to the eShop in the near future. But earlier this month, Gamuzumi said “Nintendo is increasing their restriction about what can be published or not on their consoles” and after sending the title for review, the team was told that it might not fit console policies.
