Live A Live director says localization was originally planned, but didn’t happen due to low sales in Japan

Nearly thirty years after its original launch, Live A Live is finally seeing a global worldwide release and will be localized into English for the first time. As it turns out, there were originally plans to bring the title outside of Japan.
Takashi Tokita, the director of Live A Live, told One More Game that Square Enix was originally considering localization. But since “sales prospects in Japan did not seem particularly promising”, it was never released in other regions.

Aerial Knight’s Never Yield getting a physical release on Switch

Today, Super Rare Games announced that it’s partnering with publisher Headup and developer Aerial_Knight on a physical release of Aerial Knight’s Never Yield for Switch.
4,000 units will be made. Each copy includes all the current content on its cart, including “Da Update”, a full-color manual, interior artwork, an exclusive sticker, and trading cards.
June 2022 NPD: Switch leads all consoles in unit sales

According to the latest NPD report, Switch was the best-selling console in the United States for the month of June in terms of unit sales. The same also applies for 2022 thus far as a whole.
Switch did lose out to the PlayStation 5 in both categories when it comes to dollar sales. However, one factor to keep in mind is that Sony’s console is more expensive – the cheapest version is $400 while the other model is $500. The Switch Lite costs $200 and other models are priced at $350.
This month’s NPD report also includes the latest on software sales. In June, Mario Strikers: Battle League debuted at #3 on the chart. Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes came in at #16. You can see the full results here.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 reveals initial DLC outfits, wave 2 Expansion Pass tease

Nintendo and Monolith Soft have provided an update on the Expansion Pass for Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
