After a very long wait, Level-5’s dungeon crawling RPG Snack World: The Dungeon Crawl – Gold is coming west. Nintendo announced today that it will publish the game on Switch on February 14, 2020. That news applies to both North America and Europe.

The latest Japanese hardware sales from Famitsu are as follows:

The 2D platformer FoxyLand is coming to Switch next week, according to an eShop listing. A release is planned for November 29.

The Winter Tour has arrived, and with it new challenges and characters. Players will be able to use the new Drift button in game to race their way to victory to collect as many Grand Stars as possible, and Gold Pass subscribers also have the chance to get the Radish Rider kart, among other gifts. Due out in 2020, Fairy Tail’s game adaptation is inching ever closer. The latest issue of Famitsu has revealed that Rogue, Kagura, Sherria, Sting, and Ichiya will all be playable. Some additional information was also featured, explaining various mechanics:

  • Unison Raid – A combination magic attack by two characters.
  • Awakening – Drastically enhances a characters abilities for a fixed window of time.
  • Mode Change – A strengthened state that can be used by some characters.
  • Super Magic – Makarov backs you up with Super Magic. Has a fixed chance of being activated through continued magic cooperation.

Heroes with the Distant Counter skill are the next 5★ summoning focus. Players will be able to acquire units like Nagi, Byleth: Tested Professor and Nailah. Those who are lucky enough to snag one will be able to utilize their ability to counterattack regardless of their foe’s range. As per usual, the first summon in this event won’t cost any Orbs.

 

Releasing for Switch January 17th, 2020, Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore has had new details emerge courtesy of the December 5th issue of Famitsu:

Publisher Spike Chunsoft and developer Acquire have announced that Katana Kami: A Way of the Samurai Story finally has a release date for both digital and physical copies (Steam, Switch, and PS4) in Japan: February 20th, 2020. The price is listed at 3,980 yenThe retail listing for the game was also updated, which you can check out after the break.

This week’s Famitsu review scores are as follows:

Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield sold 1,364,544 copies over a three-day launch period in Japan, Famitsu has revealed. Data was collected between November 15 and November 17.

In other news, Switch (including Switch Lite) sold another 180,136 units in Japan between November 11 and November 17. Total sales of the system have now surpassed ten million units sold in Japan. The current count sits at 10,065,797 consoles sold.
