The official Splatoon 2 Twitter stated it will be partnering with 7-Eleven in Japan. The partnership will include nanaco figures and special in-game gear.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe was updated to version 1.1 tonight. In the official patch notes, Nintendo said that it adjusted the animation for Inkling Girl. So what was that about?
Above is a gesture that Inkling Girl originally. But with version 1.1, the updated animation is below. This was likely changed as some may consider it to be offensive. The change may seem subtle to some, though you can now see that Inkling Girl no longer puts her hand on her other arm.
Today, Nintendo issued a new update for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Players can now download version 1.1.
Surprisingly, there are actual patch notes to go along with today’s update. Nintendo highlights the following:
Nintendo is back with the final entry in the Squid Sisters Stories for Splatoon 2. This new initiative intends to tell the tale of Callie and Marie following the final Splatfest.

At E3 2017 next month, Nintendo will be hosting the 2017 ARMS Open Invitational. A new teaser video is online for the event, posted below.
For the most part, you can expect ARMS to run at a stable 60 frames per second. However, Game Informer notes that after going hands-on with the title, it’ll drop to an unspecified number. While we don’t have an actual number, it’ll likely be 30 frames per second.
One of the highlights from today’s Nintendo Direct is the upcoming ARMS Global Testpunch. By downloading this demo from the Switch eShop, you can try out the game at certain days and times.
