Update (6/8): Aaaand all of the listings are gone again. We’ll be ceasing our coverage of this until E3 next week!
Update (6/6): Runbow 3DS is back up on Amazon. The Wii U version is still missing. Also, the Tumblestone Xbox One page has now removed the Wii U boxart, so the mystery there continues.
Original (6/3): A couple of notable listings went up for physical indie titles on Amazon yesterday. The retailer listed Runbow for Wii U and 3DS, and had a Wii U boxart up for Tumblestone (which was on an Xbox One listing page, strangely).
All of these have since been pulled from Amazon. With Runbow, 13AM Games said that we’ll be hearing more about the game at E3. One of the artists behind Tumblestone also indicated that the developer’s title is indeed getting a retail release. This might have been a case of some misinformation floating around (13AM Games indicated as such) as well as some early listings that weren’t supposed to go live just yet.
This week’s North American Wii U Virtual Console game is now confirmed through a listing on Nintendo’s website. Tomorrow, Wario: Master of Disguise will be available.
Here’s an overview:
Wario never lets a get-rich-quick scheme pass him by. Wario has stolen a magic wand that makes its owner into a Master of Disguise! He turns himself into a master thief who uses disguises to help him steal everything in his path. Use the power of the disguise to explore, attack, and hunt for treasure. The all-powerful Wishstone awaits!
Wario: Master of Disguise will be priced at $9.99.
Mini Mario & Friends amiibo Challenge has received a new update on Wii U. To download it, you’ll need 40MB of free space. The update brings Mini Mario & Friends amiibo Challenge to version 1.1.0.
We had previously heard that there were issues with the Skylanders Bowser and Donkey Kong amiibo in the game. There’s a good chance that the patch addresses those problems.
Thanks to Cameron for the tip.
Nintendo has published a new Children’s Product Certificate, but no one seems to know what it is at present. The company generally has these items up for amiibo.
Amiibo News speculates that the certificate is for a new Smash Bros. figure. That’s because the product number is chronologically behind the new Splatoon amiibo. We should find out what this is soon enough.
GameXplain has posted more footage of Sheldon’s Picks Vol. 2 in Splatoon. Get another look at the weapons below.
