Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Nintendo published new data today that reveals Japan’s most-downloaded Switch games of 2020.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons, one of the most-popular releases last year, took the top spot. We see other notable titles in the top five including Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics and Momotaro Dentetsu: Showa, Heisei, Reiwa mo Teiban!, the latter of which has been a massive seller in Japan. Interestingly, Human: Fall Flat is right behind at #4.

Olija

Devolver Digital and Skeleton Crew Studios have shared a new story trailer for Olija, “a game about Faraday’s quest, a man shipwrecked then trapped in the mysterious country of Terraphage.” Watch it below.

Olija is due out for Switch as an eShop download on January 28.

HypeTrain Digital and Voolgi today debuted a new trailer for SuchArt: Genius Artist Simulator, a first-person painting sim. View it below.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 - Toppo (God of Destruction)

Bandai Namco has followed up on the recent news that Toppo (God of Destruction) is joining Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. The character, along with previously-announced Pikkon, will be included in Legendary Pack 1. It seems that this pack will actually be paid DLC as opposed to a free update.

As for what the next free update includes, Bandai Namco is adding a Janemba CC Mascot and the following five new figures for the Hero Colosseum:


Kowloon Highschool Chronicle

Arc System Works today announced that Kowloon Highschool Chronicle, a PS2-era adventure RPG that was previously made available for Switch in Japan as Kowloon Youma Gakuen Ki: Origin of Adventure, is coming west. It will launch in North America and Europe on February 4.

Nosferatu Lilinor

Nosferatu Lilinor, an action-platformer with puzzle elements, is available on Switch worldwide as of today. Find some footage in the video below.

Neoverse Trinity Edition

Tino Gamez announced today that Neoverse Trinity Edition, a time warping multiverse game, is releasing on Switch today. It previously debuted on PC with a positive player reception.

Skyforge
