Animal Crossing: New Horizons has been updated, bringing the game to version 1.3.0. This is the first summer update for the game.

Paper Mario: The Origami King

Nintendo has uploaded a couple of new Japanese commercials for Paper Mario: The Origami King. We’ve included the adverts below.

Paper Mario: The Origami King is slated for a July 17 release on Switch.

Bandai Namco has shared a new trailer for One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 featuring DLC character Charlotte Cracker. Watch the video below.

This week’s episode of Nintendo Minute has gone live. In today’s video, Kit and Krysta have a little fun with all of the fossils in Animal Crossing and come up with their own imaginary dinosaur creations by mixing and matching different fossils. Check out the full episode below.

CrossCode

After a lengthy wait, the 2D action-RPG CrossCode debuts on Switch next week. Find some footage in the video below.

CrossCode is due out for Switch on July 9.

Vblank Entertainment has announced a brand new update for Retro City Rampage DX, aptly titled “Retro City Rampage DX+”. The patch is live as of today on Switch, though the 3DS version will follow a bit later.

Retro City Rampage DX+ contains visual polish, more accessibility options, a smoother camera, and more. We have additional details straight from Vblank below.

Maid of Sker

Wales Interactive has shared a new gameplay trailer for the first-person survival-horror game Maid of Sker. Watch the video below.

Maid of Sker is slated for release on Switch later in 2020.

Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions

Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions has received yet another team-focused trailer highlighting the England Junior Youth. We have the video below.

Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions launches for Switch on August 28.

Earlier this week, 2K confirmed that NBA 2K21 will be on Switch and revealed Damian Lillard as the cover athlete. A September 4 release date and Mamba Forever Edition was also announced today, which will feature NBA legend Kobe Bryant.

Here’s some additional information:

Kunai

Limited Run Games and Kunai Meridiem Games are providing Kunai with a physical release, publisher The Arcade Crew has announced.

A standard version has thus far been confirmed from Limited Run Games, and pre-orders open on July 8. Meridiem Games will release its own version in October and is including a stickers set plus an exclusive Tabby pin as a pre-order gift.

Kunai was previously made available for Switch as an eShop download.
