Fans have come across a new Nintendo wireless device that was filed with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). This was put into the records over the weekend, but there’s not much to go on currently.

Right now the filing points out that the device has the CLO-001 model number. However, this indicated that it’s something entirely new –  Switch used HAC-001 for instance while DS was NTR-001.

I’ve had a 2010 Wii copy of Epic Mickey sitting on my shelf for years, and as much as I had intended to experience Warren Spector’s twisted Mickey Mouse tale well before this point, for one reason or another I’ve just never gotten around to it. In this case, my patience definitely paid off. Developer Purple Lamp – who is quickly garnering a positive reputation for their work in the 3D platforming space – has invested considerable effort to free this ambitious game from the Wii’s limitations and make it accessible to modern audiences. While the Switch version of Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed has some disappointing performance issues here and there, overall, this remake is a stunning effort that deserves to be experienced by fans of both Disney and platformers alike.

Blasphemous 2 players will be happy to hear that the game is not only getting new Mea Culpa DLC, but a free True Torment update as well. Both are due out on October 31, 2024.

The DLC revolves around Mea Culpa, the lost sword wielded by The Penitent One in the first game. It includes new zones, new bosses, new quests, an alternate ending for The Penitent One, and more.

Based on a listing found on the United States Patent and Trademark Office website, PlatinumGames now has full control over The Wonderful 101.

Nintendo was originally in charge of The Wonderful 101 when it released on Wii U many years ago. However, PlatinumGames handled the remastered launch in 2020. Also, the re-release was no longer Nintendo exclusive – it came to Switch and other platforms.
