In light of the coronavirus pandemic last year, Nintendo released Jump Rope Challenge on Switch. The free app was designed to keep people moving during the lockdowns.

Jump Rope Challenge was originally planned as a limited-time eShop download, as it was announced that the app would be removed after September 30. However, Nintendo later reversed course, and it will remain live “until further notice”.
