FIFA 18 is the series’ first entry on Switch, and the first game in the franchise to hit a Nintendo system in quite a few years. On the whole, it contains many of the same features as other platforms, but some key elements are missing.
We do know that The Journey is missing from the Switch version of FIFA 18. The story mode won’t be present, seemingly due to how tied it is to Frostbite. Rather than using that engine on Switch, Nintendo’s console incorporates custom technology.
USgamer also put together a nice piece outlining other missing Switch features that you may not have been aware of. Here’s what the site shares:
Miitomo has been updated with more content. Users will find a returning stage theme, along with some brand new items.
“Impeccable service! Maids and Butlers” is the returning theme. It includes the following:

– Maid cafe outfit
– Sophisticated dress
– Sophisticated suit
– Maid cap
– Classic maid uniform
– Classic butler uniform
– Monocole
– Eyepatch
– Classy butler uniform
– French maid outfit
– Frilled garter + knee-highs
And as far as the new items go, you can nab the following:
– Collared socks
– Royal guard hat
– Royal guard uniform
Update: Full patch notes added below. Nintendo also fixed a couple of issues and made adjustments to fighters and ARMS.
Original: ARMS already received a big update this month in the form of the Lola Pop patch, adding the new character and more. Just a couple of weeks later, another patch has been issued. Players can download version 3.1.0.
One thing we’ve noticed is that the Sparring Ring has been added in as a fully playable stage, and can be selected in Ranked Match. We’re waiting on the full patch notes, and we’ll add them in here when they’re live.
