As of late, Pokemon GO apps and websites used to track creatures in the game have shut down. Some outlets such as Poke Hound have received cease and desist letters, forcing them to close.
Another popular (and free) tracker is Pokevision. By using the website, players could see where creatures would spawn, and for how long. But with the new Pokemon GO update issued yesterday, Pokevision can no longer be used, and the site’s Twitter account only has this to say thus far:

It’s unclear if Pokevision will ever return. With Niantic sending cease and desist letters, it may end up being permanent.
It’s also worth considering the situation from Niantic’s site. With Ingress, the company’s last game, similar services placed a huge burden on the servers. That could be one of many reasons as to why Niantic has been going after Pokemon trackers.
Towards the end of last week, Metroid Prime: Blast Ball was added to the 3DS eShop for free. It’s basically the entire game that will be included in Federation Force. However, the severs will be going offline at some point. The eShop didn’t specify when, but now we have a better idea. Nintendo’s website mentions: “In early September, the multiplayer servers will switch over to support the full game only.”
So you have until then to play Federation Force online with others. But even after September passes, you can continue to play single-player as well as locally with others.
Indie developer 4AM Games has been working on Peasant Knight, a new puzzle-platformer. Now we know that a 3DS version is happening thanks to some assistance from Ratalaika Games. Ratalaika is implementing an in-game level editor as well as map sharing.
Here’s a little more information about Peasant Knight:
“Peasant Knight is a puzzle-platformer. With a twist. You’re relentlessly dashing into the face of danger, namely traps like suddenly erupting flame pits. You can only go forward! Or stop.
The game challenges your muscle memory and eye-hand coordination, but I want most of the thrill to come from solving levels, each level is like a complex machine of traps that you need to grasp and navigate through.”
Peasant Knight doesn’t have a release date just yet. Look for it within the coming months.

In a recent issue, Famitsu published its review of Yo-kai Watch 3. The magazine seemed to think highly of the RPG, as it earned a score of 37 points out of 40. Four editors scored it with “10”, “9”, “9”, and “9”.
The introduction of new elements and the story were praised. Famitsu also felt positively about the battle system, though one editor felt that it might feel a tad complex.

Pokemon GO Plus was supposed to be out towards the end of this month. Unfortunately, a delay for the app accessory was announced earlier in the week. It will now arrive in September instead.
Speaking with Polygon, Nintendo provided an official statement about the delay. The company said that the extra time is being used to optimize Pokemon GO Plus, allowing for “new experiences” that offer “a quality level high enough to satisfy as many people as possible”.
