Drawn to Life dev wants to try bringing previous entries to Switch, make a bigger sequel

The Drawn to Life franchise received a number of games during the Wii and DS days, but it’s been largely dormant over the past few years. Now, however, 505 Games and Digital Continue are bringing the IP back with a brand new entry titled Two Realms.
Digital Continue founder Joseph Tringali, who has served as an executive producer on the previous Drawn to Life games, recently spoke with us about the new title for Switch and the series in general. We asked about the possibility of past entries appearing on Nintendo’s current console, to which he said that’s something he’d be interested in. Fans should also be happy to hear that Tringali hopes to create a bigger sequel one day if Two Realms turns out to be a success.
Tringali told Nintendo Everything:
[Review] Immortals Fenyx Rising
Posted on 4 years ago by Dennis Gagliardotto(@LyonHart_) in Reviews, Switch | 0 comments
System: Switch
Release date: December 3, 2020
Developer: Ubisoft
Publisher: Ubisoft
If there’s anything Ubisoft should be commended for, it’s the company’s ambition to constantly create new IP and expand them into ongoing franchises. Ubisoft is one of the few publishers out there that has a steady output from numerous in-house studios that tend to push new ideas forward with a wide array of properties. Immortals Fenyx Rising – which debuted as Gods & Monsters in 2019 – continues that trend with an open-world game featuring an experience that’s equal parts wholesome and dramatic, humorous yet tumultuous, and adventurous and inviting. It fine tunes the open-world experience and makes everything feel worthwhile and seamless, cutting the bloat other games in the genre tend to find themselves suffering from. Immortals Fenyx Rising provides a beautiful world within the Golden Isles that feels like a breath of fresh air.

This week on Nintendo Everything Podcast, we’re getting Animal Crossing’s Turkey Day out of the way and chatting about Hyrule Warriors. Oni Dino has spoiler-lite impressions on SWERY’s The Missing. We then chat about Wii U Maio Maker’s early stages of being “sunset” as they love to say. Finally, the listener mail has a great food for thought for us: the general normalization of monetizing games. From DLC to microtransactions to loot boxes to season passes.

[Let’s Talk] Nintendo at The Game Awards 2020 – hopes and dreams
Posted on 4 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in Let's Talk | 0 comments
The Game Awards tend to be a bit different than the typical awards show. Rather than just focusing on the awards themselves, the event is also known for offering up a look at what’s to come in the future. We get to see new looks at games, new trailers, and new announcements.
Nintendo does have an extensive history at The Game Awards. They were right there at the beginning in 2014 by having Shigeru Miyamoto and Eiji Aonuma demonstrate Zelda: Breath of the Wild with off-screen footage, and that’s continued in later years. We’ve seen the announcements of Bayonetta 3 and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, Joker in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and more.
You can probably expect Nintendo to show up in one form or another at The Game Awards 2020. The big question, of course, is what the company will actually be presenting? Could we get a new look at Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2? Will Bayonetta 3 resurface? Perhaps something brand new will be announced. Share your predictions with us – or at least what you personally hope to see – in the comments below.

Now that the SEGA Ages Switch series has come to an end, Famitsu recently held an interview looking back with key members of staff. During the discussion, the developers were asked about the popularity of the games in Japan and overseas. Everyone seemed to have different answers, but they referenced some data to back their thoughts up, too.
Included in the interview are Rieko Kodama (producer/director), Yosuke Okunari (supervisor), and Tsuyoshi Matsuoka (M2 director).

This week on Nintendo Everything Podcast, we’re back to talk about No More Heroes and Part Time UFO. Galen also critiques the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Halloween event and has thoughts on upcoming seasonal events, too. Oni Dino beat Trials of Mana, and it’s a mixed bag. And to mark the release of the PS5 and Xbox SX, we consider the routes Nintendo could go down in the second half of the Switch’s life. Pro version? Full handheld? A new console entirely?
We also have a podcast discord for listeners to chill, chat, and make friends. Check out links and timestamps below and come hang out.
