The New Prince of Tennis game

Bushiroad is planning a The New Prince of Tennis game for Switch, the company revealed today. Additional information, including a release window, was not provided. Bushiroad merely dropped the short announcement on Twitter without sharing anything else about what fans can expect from the project.

The Prince of Tennis is a Japanese manga series from Takeshi Konomi. Between July 1999 and March 2008, it saw 379 individual chapters and forty-two volumes. In the middle of its run, Trans Arts made an anime that spanned 178 episodes.

Sakuna Of Rice and Ruin art book

Thanks to PIE International, Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin is getting an official art book. It will include character designs plus sketches, prop designs, background art, package illustrations, and more. The book will also have comments from director Nal, main artist Ryota Murayama, and Koichi (general / planning assistance).

What might be the most noteworthy aspect of the book is that it will actually feature English text. It’ll be included right alongside all of the Japanese information. The book has thus far only been announced for Japan, but even if we don’t see it in North America / Europe, importing will be an option. Play-Asia actually already has pre-orders here.

Below are a few preview pages from the Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin art book:

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes gameplay

Having made it to Switch this week, we have new gameplay from LEGO Marvel Super Heroes. This new footage shows off how the port runs on the console.

Here’s an overview of the game:

no more heroes 3 dlc

No More Heroes 3 doesn’t have any actual DLC planned. However, in a recent interview, director Suda51 spoke about what he would have in mind.

Suda51 brought up three main points while speaking with Siliconera. The first thing he would be interested in adding is an area that was ultimately scrapped from the final game “due to tech reasons”. Suda51 also brought up wanting to do more with the Galactic Superhero Rankers and boss battles. Finally, if he ever had the chance, adding more playable characters like Shinobu would be a top goal.

We’ve included Suda51’s comments about No More Heroes 3 DLC below. Just to stress once again, nothing is actually in the works for now.

The Switch OLED finally launched around the world yesterday. It’s not quite the “Pro” model that some hoped it would be, but it does have a number of upgrades. The obvious attraction is the new OLED screen that’s a tad bigger. Other than that, it has an updated dock with an ethernet port, new kickstand, 64GB of internal memory, and enhanced audio.

Did you manage to pick up a Switch OLED? If not, are you planning on buying one in the future, or are you happy with your current system? Let us know in the comments below.
