E3 2021

The fourth and final day of E3 2021 will be starting soon. Look for the live stream to begin at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET / 4 PM in the UK / 5 PM in Europe. Nintendo is the highlight today (and we’ll be putting up a separate live stream / blog for that), but the E3 awards will also be featured in the hours to come.

Here’s where you can watch today’s E3 stream:

LRG3, Limited Run Games’ annual E3 press conference, will be starting soon. The presentation begins at 1 PM PT / 4 PM ET / 9 PM in the UK / 10 PM in Europe. It will cover over 25 announcements regarding “new games, physical editions of cult favorites, and reprints of classic titles.”

You can watch LRG3 2021 as it happens below. We’ll be sure to report on any notable Switch news as it happens.

Devolver Digital

Devolver Digital’s annual E3 2021 event will be kicking off soon. The fun begins at 1:30 PM PT / 4:30 PM ET / 9:30 PM in the UK / 10:30 PM in Europe.

Devolver says it has five new games to reveal and two release dates to share. We’ve usually gotten a bit of Switch news during these events, so hopefully that’s the case this time around as well.

Just ahead of E3 2021, Summer Game Fest is beginning today with a special Kickoff Live! event. It will begin at 11 AM PT / 2 PM ET / 7 PM in the UK / 8 PM in Europe. Viewers can look forward to world premieres, special guests, and musical performances.

LEGO Builder's Journey

Just this past week, Light Brick Studio announced that LEGO Builder’s Journey is heading to Switch. We were able to speak with director Karsten Lund to discuss the puzzle title in more detail. Lund discussed how the game to be, what to expect from the Switch version – in terms of features, content, and performance – and more.

Sonic Colors: Ultimate

Following the recent announcement of Sonic Colors: Ultimate, Japanese magazine Famitsu shared an interview with a couple of key people behind the franchise. Creative officer Takashi Iizuka and creative director Kazuyuki Hoshino both chatted with the magazine.

Iizuka spoke in depth about Sonic Colors: Ultimate, discussing why the Wii game was brought back, the new Tails Save gameplay system, and more. We also get to hear a bit from Iizuka and Hoshino about the series’ 30th anniversary.
