The Pokemon Company, Niantic, and Nintendo have shared new details about the Mythical Pokemon Meltan. We have new information regarding how it can be captured in Pokemon GO and transferred to Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu / Eevee.

Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu and Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee have received a couple of new videos. Both can be found below and are all about Meltan.
In the first video, Professor Oak and Professor Willow discuss their Meltan research. Meltan is again in the second video as part of a live-action trailer, which also teases a secret.

Level-5 delays Inazuma Eleven Ares to this winter, Yo-kai Watch 4 to Spring 2019

Two Level-5 games for Switch have been hit with delays.
The first title affected in Inazuma Eleven Ares. Previously scheduled for this fall, it’ll now arrive this winter.
Yo-kai Watch 4 has been impacted as well. After it was penciled in for this winter, it’s now set to arrive sometime in Spring 2019.

Nintendo Switch Online NES app updated with special version of Zelda

Three more NES games are now available to Nintendo Switch Online subscribers. As was announced last week, Nintendo has added in NES Open Tournament Golf, Solomon’s Key, and Super Dodge Ball.
There also appears to be an additional surprise. The Legend of Zelda – Living the life has also been added, which is the first example of a “special” version of the classic.

Fate/Extella Link coming to Switch

Update: An official website for the Switch version of Fate/Extella Link has been opened by Marvelous. From this page, it is confirmed that the game will support English, traditional Chinese, and Hangul subtitle options. The first trailer for the game has been added below.
Original: Fate/Extella Link will be released on Switch, a listing on Amazon Japan reveals. The page has it down for January 31.
A followup to Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star, Fate/Extella Link is an action game with more Servents, online multiplayer, and more. The Switch version will support local multiplayer through 4v4 battles along with plush/chibi costumes for Nero, Tamamo-no-Mae, and Altera that resemble Kigurumi in appearance.

Skybound wants to work with original Walking Dead team on final Telltale episodes, seasons 2 and 3 still planned for Switch

Skybound announced this past weekend that it is picking up the pieces left behind by Telltale’s closure to finish The Walking Dead: The Final Season. Two episodes have been released, though two more still need to be finished. That’s where Skybound comes in.
Speaking with Variety, president Dan Murray noted that the company hopes to work with the original team on the last episodes. He also spoke generally about the recent news surrounding Telltale and more, in which he stated:

Trine 4, Earthlock 2, and more outed by European Commission

A document from the European Commission has outed several unannounced titles. Trine 4 and Earthlock 2 are among the projects listed, along with upcoming titles from companies like Zoink games.
Platforms are not attached to any of these projects. However, in the case of Earthlock 2, its predecessor has appeared on Switch and Wii U. Frozenbyte also has history with Nintendo consoles having released the Trine games on Wii U while the third entry in the series has been rumored for Switch (and Nine Parchments).

Square Enix interested in an offline/overseas version of Dragon Quest X, says 3DS titles “weren’t that popular” in the west

Dragon Quest X is somewhat of an odd entry in the series. Square Enix made it as an MMORPG, and it’s not available at the moment in the west. Perhaps that could change in the future.
Yosuke Saito, who previously was a producer, indicated that there’s interest in making an offline version of Dragon Quest X during the Super Dragon Quest X TV Fall Festival 10-Hour Special 2018 broadcast. He said:
