GameSpot recently spoke with Diablo III Eternal Collection producer Pete Stilwell and associate producer Matt Cederquist about all things Switch. The two discussed how the system’s various features make it “the next evolution”, Diablo III’s tech specs on the platform, scrapped touch controls, and more.

Yacht Club sharing “first look at an all new game coming to Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove” next week

Yacht Club has been quiet as of late, but that’ll be changing very soon. The studio has teased a “first look at an all new game coming to Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove” that will be revealed next week.
We’re not sure when exactly the news will drop, though we’ll let you know as soon as it’s shared – which will come from IGN. Yacht Club will likely have a presence at PAX West and may even have a presence in the upcoming Nindies Showcase, so stay tuned.

Dust: An Elysian Tail launches on Switch next month

During E3 earlier this summer, Humble Hearts and Limited Run Games revealed that Dust: An Elysian Tail is coming to Switch. We now have a release date for the title. Nintendo’s website has it down for September 10.
Dust: An Elysian Tail, which is critically acclaimed, is an action RPG set “in a gorgeous hand-painted world on a search for your true identity.” We have more details and a trailer below.

Bethesda says its games on Switch have been “hugely popular”

Bethesda has published a number of different games on Switch thus far, including The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Doom, Wolfenstein II, and Fallout Shelter. The company isn’t stopping there having recently confirmed that Doom Eternal will be on the console. This time around, the Switch version will drop alongside other platforms.
IGN brought up the Doom Eternal Switch news with Bethesda’s Pete Hines in an interview this week. Speaking about the decision to announce the game for Nintendo’s console out of the gate, he stated:

A few weeks ago, we translated a 4Gamer interview conducted with producer Kenichiro Tsukuda. The site actually ended up bringing back Tsukuda for a second interview, who was also joined by mech designer Shoji Kawamori. Deemo getting Nintendo Labo support, first third-party game to be compatible with Toy-Con

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe was the first Nintendo game to be updated with Nintendo Labo support. As for third-party titles, we’re starting to finally see some movement on that front.
Nintendo’s Japanese website reveals that Deemo will soon be compatible with Labo. You’ll be able to use the Toy-Con Piano to play some of the songs with an update scheduled for October.
