At the Japan Expo in France, Junichi Masuda shared a new Pokemon X/Y message. Included in the video is the reveal of a Steel/Ghost type Pokemon known as Monorpale (French) / Hitotsuki (Japanese). Details about the Pokemon are currently unknown, but Masuda’s message did show the Pokemon unsheathing itself during battle.
Monolith Kyoto is one section of Monolith Soft that we haven’t heard much from. Although the studio opened in 2011, news regarding its first project has not yet been shared.
CGWorld did manage to get some tidbits out of the studio in a new interview. We now know that the team contributed to Animal Crossing: New Leaf and have around 30 staffers in total. More developer details can be found below.

-Staff use their extra free time to pursue hobbies or hone their artistic skills.
-Looking for storyboard artists as they’re making cutscenes at the studio.

-The absolute minimum monthly salary for an experienced worker is 185,000 yen (US$1,837), up for negotiation based on experience and skills. There’s also 2 annual bonuses, an annual wage rise, health insurance, and up to ~US$500 support for work related transport costs on top of the salary.
-Experienced workers must have 3 years experience or more, new graduates also welcome.
We have a first look at the special Pokemon X/Y 3DS systems, which will arriving in Japan alongside the release of the new games in October. Pricing is set at 22,800 yen each.
Two designs will be available: one in blue, and another in gold. The latter will only be sold at the Pokemon Center.
Moving Player has announced Tangram Style, its first game for the 3DS eShop. It will be out sometime this summer.
Tangram Style includes over 600 puzzles and four game modes. Moving Player believes that the puzzle gameplay will be accessible to all players, from 5 to 85 years-old.

Three new Game Gear games hit the 3DS Virtual Console last week. System owners can purchase Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic Labyrinth, and Crystal Warriors.
SEGA has even more Game Gear titles in the pipeline. The company recently said that it has “yet another batch of Game Gear classics on the way soon”.
A few more games should be coming tomorrow. Maybe we’ll be seeing even more later on?
