You can watch the interview for yourself right here. We should have an embed option within the next couple of days.
Rime developers Tequila Works recently spoke about their game with Wccftech.com. We’ve picked out some of the more relevant pieces of new information and collected them below.
On the length and replayability of the game:
(Kevin Sardà – Lead Designer) The duration of the game will largely depend on each player’s play style and how he or she would like to immerse into the exploration of the island and unlocking all the secrets it keeps. If if you really want to take your time and collect all the secrets, you might well end up in the 8-10 hours range , but it could take a couple hours fewer or a couple hours more. As for replayability, the story of RiME has a very well defined ending, which everybody will experience when they finish the game, but there is a good chance players might miss several secrets and collectibles in their first playthrough, and those items are not there as mere cosmetic additions or to artificially increase the time you spend in the game, but they offer deeper understanding about the story. We expect a good deal of players will revisit the island in order to get the whole picture!
Nintendo recently hosted a hands-on event for the Switch in Chicago, giving fans a first come first serve chance to play the Switch before it officially launches. You can check out some footage of the event below.
After releasing the second generation of Pokemon into the wild for players to capture, Pokemon GO has reclaimed its position as the highest grossing iPhone game in the App store. In the Google Play store, Pokemon GO is third on the same chart, right behind mobile game titans Game of War and Mobile Strike.
While Pokemon GO making huge amounts of money may seem like a familiar story, prior to the most recent content update Pokemon GO was in the bottom 10 for highest grossing games in both the App store and the Google Play store, and hasn’t been in the number one position since January 4th. Furthermore, the recent Valentines Day event only got the game as far as number eight in the list of top grossing games.
It seems that Pokemon GO could have an extremely long reign as the biggest name on the App store if the response to these content updates are anything to go by. Considering that only 251 of the 800+ Pokemon that exist so far are represented in Pokemon GO at the moment, it’s safe to assume that this game will be a dominating force in the mobile market for a while.
Some footage of the Pokemon line of Mega Bloks/Mega Construx toys is up on YouTube, which were shown at the New York Toy Fair. There’s a good variety of Pokemon on display here, so if you’re interested in picking some up you can check out the video below.
For today only (the 21st), Nintendo is airing a special commercial for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It’s very similar to the past trailer, with some extra scenes thrown in. I’m never too sure what to make of spoilers today, but just in case, you may want to hold off on watching the clip below if you want to go in completely fresh.

The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ was originally on track to be a launch title for Switch. Unfortunately, that’s no longer the case. Nicalis has confirmed that the game has been pushed back slightly “due to issues way beyond our control”. It’s still coming in March – just not March 3.
The new date for The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ may very well be March 17. That’s what Amazon and Best Buy have at the moment.
Nicalis announced an extra bonus for The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ today. Buyers will receive a 20-page full-color instruction booklet with their purchase.
