Game Freak has announced a new game for Switch – but it’s not Pokemon. The new project Town is coming to Nintendo’s console next year.

Town is a new RPG in which “players must take up arms against invading monsters, all within the walls of a single village.”

Nintendo has announced that it will be offering NES controller that are compatible with Switch. They’re primarily intended for the NES titles for Nintendo Switch Online.

These wireless controllers launch this month. Pricing is set at $59.99.

Katamari Damacy Reroll is coming to Switch, Bandai Namco has revealed. The announcement just took place during the Nintendo Direct currently in progress. It’s arriving this winter.

The latest Nintendo Direct will be kicking off in an hour from now. It’ll go live at 3 PM PT / 6 PM ET / 11 PM in the UK / 12 AM in Europe. During the 35-minute presentation, upcoming games for Switch and 3DS will be covered.

Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force is coming to Switch, Idea Factory has announced. The game launches on the eShop this fall with Ghostlight handling publishing duties in Europe.

Compile Heart originally made Fairy Fencer F, which will be appearing on Switch for the first time. All 25 DLC will be included.

Diablo III Eternal Collection

Diablo III Eternal Collection will launch on November 2, according to listings on the Switch eShop. Pages in both North America and Europe show the new date. Previously, Blizzard announced that Diablo III Eternal Collection would land on Switch this fall.

Diablo III Eternal Collection takes up 13.3GB of space on Switch. Pre-load is live via the eShop.

Broken Age

Update: Broken Age is out now in North America as expected.


Original: This past summer, Double Fine announced that it would be bringing Grim Fandango Remastered and Broken Age to Switch. One of those has just seen a surprise release in Europe.

The hand-animated, puzzle-filled adventure game Broken Age is out now, despite Double Fine not confirming it would be available today. It’s a 1.9GB download on Switch.

Nintendo Switch

Although it was entirely expected, Nintendo has confirmed that Switch version 6.0.0 is launching next week. The latest firmware will go live during the evening of September 18 in North America and September 19 during the very early hours in Europe. Once the update is released, the eShop will be down for maintenance.
