A couple of days ago, PGA Tour 2K21 made it to Switch as one of the few golf games on the system. If you’re curious as to how the game looks and runs, check out the footage below.

Atelier Ryza 2

Famitsu recently published an interview with the producer of Atelier Ryza 2, Junzo Hosoi. We shared a summary here of some of the details, but we’ve now translated additional information for anticipating fans to enjoy. Hosoi discussed the sales of the first game, the setting for the sequel, new characters, a hint at a new battle mechanic, hints at returning characters, and more.

We’ve translated the remaining information from Famitsu’s interview below.

Burnout Paradise Remastered

Switch received a quality racer this summer in the form of Burnout Paradise Remastered. Developer Stellar Entertainment gave the port the proper care, as the game is mostly flawless when it comes to performance and even sports features like pinch-and-pull map control. Now players can experience Burnout Paradise on the go thanks to Switch’s portable nature.

Recently, Nintendo Everything was given the opportunity to speak with Stellar Entertainment creative director Chris Roberts. Roberts chatted about the experience of bringing Burnout Paradise Remastered to Switch, including the challenges involved and maintaining high performance.

Our full discussion can be read in full below.

Nintendo hosted one of its Indie World Showcase presentations this week. As is normally the case, we were able to check out a whole bunch of upcoming indie games for Switch. And while we usually get a few shadowdrops during these broadcasts, there were quite a few this time around – probably the most we’ve ever had. Those that missed the event can catch up on the big news in the announcement recap here.

Now that the Indie World Showcase is behind us, what were your personal highlights? Which games are you looking forward to the most? Also, if you picked up any of the new titles that released, what are your thoughts on them so far? Let us know in the comments below.

Porygon2

In celebration of the Pokemon Players Cup, a code has been released to obtain Porygon2 in Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield. The creature is “expertly trained to battle with Trick Room strategies”.

To receive Porygon2, go through the following steps:

Giraffe and Annika

System: Switch
Release date: August 25, 2020
Developer: Atelier Mimina
Publisher: NIS America

With how things are in 2020, video games have become more popular than ever, and even more so the ones that can help us escape and relax, be free from trouble, and still illicit exploration filled with joy and wonder. These kinds of titles have become somewhat of a safe haven for me. Games like Animal Crossing can personally help cope with all that’s been happening as of late, and now Giraffe and Annika adds itself to the list of releases made for escapism in the purest sense.

The last major Nintendo Direct was held in September 2019. Other than that, we saw a Nintendo Direct Mini back in March of this year and a Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase about a month ago. Rumor now has it that a new presentation from Nintendo is coming soon.

VentureBeat editor Jeff Grubb (who has been on the money with a number of Nintendo-related rumors) is among those that claims a Nintendo Direct could be coming next week – potentially Friday. Grubb said during the latest episode of GamesBeat Decides:

Gastrodon

The Pokemon Company has shared a code to obtain a competitive Gastrodon, which was used by the winner of the 2019 Pokemon Japan Championships. Protect, Surf, Ice Beam, and Earth Power are its available moves. Gastrodon stands at level 50 and competitively focused IVs with max in HP, Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense with a 0 IV in Speed.

Here’s how you can receive this particular Gastrodon:

WWE 2K Battlegrounds

WWE 2K Battlegrounds is gearing up to have a massive lineup of wrestlers. Aside from 70 characters at launch, the roster will essentially double with even more additions planned after launch.

Here’s the complete roster:

Burnout Paradise Remastered

Burnout Paradise Remastered was initially released in 2018. Then this past summer, EA and Stellar Entertainment brought the game to Switch – more than two years after the initial launch.

Although Burnout Paradise Remastered came to Nintendo’s console much later on, it was actually something the team discussed during the project’s early days. Stellar Entertainment creative director Chris Roberts told Nintendo Everything in a recent interview:
