With Animal Crossing for instance (which only made it to Japan on the N64), a few unused characters have been found from early development. Fans have also shared footage of a beta dungeon in Zelda: Ocarina of Time, images of another scrapped Super Mario 64 enemy, and even a look at a cut Mario Kart 64 track.

Here’s a look at both:

During an interview with Geoff Keighley as part of Summer Games Fest, Studio MDHR shared an update on Cuphead’s The Delicious Last Course DLC.

COO Maja Moldenhauer mentioned that 2020 “just threw everyone for a loop, and we’re still working on it.” The DLC is “taking us a little longer than we thought, but we want to make it a memorable experience,” she said.

Moldenhauer also teased that The Delicious Last Course will have “some of our most detailed and complex animations that we’ve ever done.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons - Summer Update Wave 2

Nintendo has detailed the second part of Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ summer update.

The first part of the update will add fireworks shows, which take place each Sunday. A dreams feature will also be made available in which you can visit other islands, though nothing there is permanent. And most significantly of all, players will finally be able to back up their save data if they’re a Nintendo Switch Online member, though you’ll have to go through Nintendo customer service to recover anything that’s lost. Nintendo is working on a function to move users and save data to another system, which will launch later in 2020.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Summer Update – Wave 2 goes live on August 30. We have more details and a trailer below.

Tetris 99 - Paper Mario: The Origami King

Nintendo has announced the 15th Maximus Cup for Tetris 99. This time around, Paper Mario: The Origami King will be featured. Players will be able to unlock a theme based on the game.

The 15th Maximus Cup goes live on July 31 at 12 AM PT / 3 AM ET. You’ll have until August 3 at 11:59 PM PT / August 4 at 2:59 AM ET to collect 100 event points and unlock the theme.

Since our last report on the new Nintendo leaks, a bunch of additional findings have been publicized online. Much of what has been found over the past day or so pertains to N64 titles, including beta/unused enemies for Super Mario 64 and Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
