Saber Interactive is putting the final touches on a new update for NBA Playgrounds. Players will have access to new modes, content, and features soon.

First up, NBA Playgrounds is getting a 3-Point Contest mode. The game’s rebounding system has been reworked, and friend invites are planned. Finally, 33 new players are being added.

Below is a trailer for the upcoming update:

The update will be live on Switch soon. Hopefully it won’t take nearly as long as the previous patch.

Walmart had pre-orders open for the Super NES Classic Edition late Friday night. Whether or not those reservations are kept remain to be seen, as there has been some uncertainty about the retailer cancelling orders altogether.

Your next option might be Target. A representative from the store told Polygon, “We will have the Super NES Classic, and it will be available for pre-orders on Target.com at a later date.”

This is similar to what we heard over the weekend. The AskTarget Twitter account said that pre-orders would be available, though later told another consumer that it had no information. Now that we have an actual response straight from the retailer, it does seem that pre-orders for the Super NES Classic Edition will eventually open after all.

The first Pokemon GO Fest didn’t exactly go as Niantic and the fans had planned. The event suffered from a few issues, including long lines just to get in and the game itself being down due to server issues.

Understandably, Niantic itself was disappointed in how things went. A spokesperson even said that the company was “horrified with the results.”

The representative stated:

“Obviously they can’t completely make it up to all the people who have come out to Chicago today, but they want to extend the fact that they’re extremely apologetic and unhappy with the process and the results. So hopefully this is something that we will never see replicated again, learn from this and move on.

Just know that the staff here are pretty horrified with the results, so they want to make good as fast as possible. I’m super sorry guys, I’m really sorry especially for everyone who travelled international, East Coast, from all over. So this clearly was not what we were hoping for today. Thanks for your patience.”

Before Pokemon GO Fest ended, Niantic attempted to provide some compensation to attendees. Tickets were refunded, and players were given $100 in PokeCoins.

With the Rayman Legends Switch demo coming out yesterday (and then being promptly removed), we’re able to see how the game stacks up to the original Wii U title. Unsurprisingly, the two are pretty much identical from a visual standpoint. Interestingly though, at least one enemy type has been changed. Get a look at the full comparison below.

Inti Creates was originally involved with the primary development of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. That’s not the case any longer, however.

The Bloodstained confirmed on the game’s forums that Inti Creates left the main project last E3, though they’re still on board for the “prequel mini-game.” DICO has since taken over Inti Create’s role. ArtPlay is also still the main developer.

Here’s the update on Inti Creates and the overall development team:

Yesterday, a demo for Rayman Legends Definitive Edition was found on the European Switch eShop. It’s quite meaty, offering a few levels and some Kung Foot action.

A few hours later, the Rayman Legends Definitive Edition demo is missing in action. It has simply been removed without any explanation. It was located on the game’s new page, located in the “Coming Soon” section of the eShop, but the demo option is no longer available.

If we had to guess, the demo will return at some point later. It may have just gone up too early. There have also been some questions about performance in docked mode, so Ubisoft could be looking to clear those issues up before going live officially.
