Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle

Ubisoft issued its latest financial results documents this week. In it, there’s some interesting information listed pertaining to Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle.

First up, a retail version of Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle Gold Edition could be in the cards. That’s listed for release between April and June of this year. The Gold Edition has been previously available on the eShop.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2

Last week, there was apparently a major datamine for Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Rumored details about upcoming content from the Expansion Pass leaked, including information regarding the story DLC and new Blades.

That wasn’t the only recent datamine for Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Moosehunter, who has datamined the RPG previously, also apparently uncovered extra tidbits.

A couple of months ago, new art surfaced for the Mega Man animated series – now known as Mega Man: Fully Charged. It offered a glimpse at five different Robot Masters.

Thanks to the the latest Licensing Source Book, we have a new look at one of the unrecognizable characters shown in the art. It’s a yellow-looking design who is drawing comparisons to Starscream from Transformers – at least based on the somewhat blurry appearance above. Whether he’s a reinterpretation of a classic Robot Master or someone entirely new is unknown.

Rockman Corner reports that we should be getting more details about Mega Man: Fully Charged this summer or possibly sooner. Since the show is debuting on Cartoon Network this year, we do need to start hearing more.

Had Nicalis had its way, the announcement would have gone down slightly differently. The company actually reached out to Nintendo about revealing the news in a Nintendo Direct, but the Big N “wasn’t interested.”

A couple of these messages we wanted to highlight in particular. Read up on what music lead Naoto Kubo and director Kenta Motokura had to say below.

As things stand now, Okami HD won’t have a physical release on Switch in the west. But in Japan, the situation is different. Capcom confirmed this week that Japanese fans will have access to a retail version.

If you’re interested, you can pre-order a copy on Play-Asia here. We don’t have official confirmation that English will be included, but we do believe it will happen given Capcom’s other games on Switch and the fact that it’s a simultaneous worldwide launch. If we hear otherwise, we’ll be sure to let you know.
